Bubble diagrams actually make sense to us.  (We’ve seen some things.)  Do you have ideas of a floor plan floating around in your mind? Bring it in on a napkin, we’ll be able to decypher it.  We’re not scared.  The important thing is that the ideas and inspirations get out of your head and onto paper.  However you decide to do it, the more ideas you can bring to the initial visit, the better the direction.  Communication is key.

Our Designs

Viewpoint Residential Design uses state-of-the-art CAD software to produce our designs.  We also sub out the structural calculations to a professional engineer (PE) licensed in both Missouri and Kansas.  This ensures that your plans are structurally reviewed and sealed.  (That’s good insurance – who wouldn’t want that?)  Many local cities and counties require a PE seal in order to obtain a construction permit.

Design & Refining

Oh yeah, and we are also able to modify our designs. Many of our builder clients like to take their existing plans and tweak them just a bit to better fit on a tricky lot, or to try and hit a different price-point. We have produced hundreds of derivative designs using this approach. We also have experience designing barndominiums and outbuildings of all kinds; barns, detached garages, she-sheds, pool cabanas, and outdoor kitchens.
